We are proud to be part of the vibrant Tenleytown community. With a deep-seeded history in the Washington D.C. Metro, Tenleytown is the second oldest D.C. neighborhood after Georgetown. It was developed in the 1800s by John Tenally who opened a tavern to provide food and lodging for wagon traffic from surrounding communities and farms traveling to the port at Georgetown. The Tenleytown neighborhood borrows its name from our found John Tenally, but while we strive to preserve and celebrate our long history, the neighborhood today is a thriving blend of residential and commercial spaces that make our community a great place for families to live and grow. From our diverse range of dining and entertainment options on Wisconsin Avenue to our numerous local schools and universities, Tenleytown is a truly unique blend of small town charm, urban amenities, and deep historical roots. We hope when you visit us in the office you’ll spend some time exploring the Tenleytown neighborhood.
