Sometimes, group therapy can be a complement to individual therapy, as you will connect with others who are on a similar journey of healing. Periodically, we offer groups to our clients. Recent groups have been for women facing transitions in their lives, and a teen girls journaling and reflection group. Anxiety impacts many children and teens. If your child has been struggling with worry, fear, or panic, working with a therapist can help them develop effective strategies to manage these overwhelming feelings of anxiety. By learning these coping skills early in life, your child is set up for a future that feels more stable and secure. You can find out more about anxiety and how therapy helps people manage disordered levels of anxiety by visiting our therapy for anxiety page linked below or getting in touch with one of our knowledgeable therapists.
Depression is a common emotional disorder. It has been linked to unexpected changes or losses, hormonal fluctuation, and life transitions, so young people, who often manage all of this at once, are at increased risk to experience bouts of depression. Our therapists understand what children and teens are going through, and we can utilize evidence-based techniques to help them overcome their depressed mood and start feeling like themselves again.
Our skilled clinicians put years of advanced training and experience to work helping clients achieve their therapy goals. The following therapists offer therapy for children and families:
