Meet Our Therapists

At Dandelion, we have therapists with various specialties ranging from maternal wellness, to LGBTQIA issues, to work with children and teens. We encourage you to check out our therapists page to learn more about each therapist in our practice and to see who may be the best fit for you. If you’re not sure which therapist you would like to work with, don’t hesitate to reach out. We can discuss your therapy needs and help you find a therapist who will be the right match.

Therapy for Adults

From our convenient Washington, DC and Maryland location, we are able to work with adults of all ages, including young professionals and college-age adults, older adults, and parents whose children attend one of the many schools in our neighborhood. Our therapists offer experienced care for individuals dealing with concerns like difficulty transitioning from college to the workforce, imposter syndrome, anxiety, depression, parenting struggles, and more.

Therapy for
Children & Families

Helping young people explore, grow, and gain the necessary skills to thrive at all stages of life requires specialized knowledge and expertise. Many of out team members have dedicated years to developing the requisite skills to work with children, adolescents, and teens to help them grow socially, academically, and as part of their families. We also work with the parents and families of young people to continue providing support and guidance in order to ensure their success after they leave our office.

Therapy for Anxiety

If you struggle with elevated levels of anxiety, you know that it can affect every aspect of your life. Constant worry, panic attacks, and other forms of disordered anxiety, can be overwhelming, making it difficult to work effectively, learn, or simply handle day-to-day tasks. Through working with one of our therapists, you can learn strategies and tools to cope with the toll that anxiety takes. Most importantly, therapy can help you feel more stable and at ease, so you can truly enjoy your life.

Therapy for Depression

Research indicates that high numbers of people will struggle with depression at some point in their lives. The effects of depression can make the smallest daily tasks seem nearly insurmountable. If you feel you might be struggling with depression, we want you to know that you’re not alone. Talking to a therapist can offer a sense of relief, help you manage and cope with symptoms, and help you work your way back towards feeling like yourself again. Reach out by phone or email, and we’ll do everything we can to connect you with a therapist that is right for you. We even offer online therapy, so you can start feeling better and working with us regularly without even needing to leave home.
